Abamectin is an old variety with more than 30 years of application history, and is a class of antibiotic pesticides with insecticidal, acaricidal, fungicidal and nematicidal activity. Due to the broad-spectrum (currently reported that there are 84 kinds of abamectin insecticidal spectrum) and high efficiency of abamectin, it leads to farmers' over-dependence on it, and does not carry out reasonable rotation of its use in field control, resulting in the insect and mite resistance to it increasing, and wantonly increasing the use of dosage, and the content of the active ingredient is constantly increasing.
Abamectin is mostly used in our country to control pests with small body, many generations and easy to appear resistance, such as pear louse, cotton aphid, etc., leaf-submerging pests, such as American spotted fly, etc., pest mites, such as two-spotted leaf mite, tea-orange leaf mite, hawthorn leaf mite, and pests with wide range of host and miscellaneous predators, such as little cabbage moth, etc.. However, due to its unique mechanism of action and no interactive resistance with other agents, it is still widely used in compounding and mixing with other compounds to significantly enhance the efficacy.
